Is Jasmine more like Andorra or Dotty Spot?
I've just been to TWO bravissimos on my recent trip to Scotland! (hence my inactivity) and tried to get my hands on Jasmine, since I've heard it recommended so much, but no luck, all sold out
But, to determine my size, they recommended I tried their Dotty Spot: It fit me in 32JJ, so I bought it. I also bought Andorra in 34J, even though slightly too small, but with the stretchy lace, it's not much of a problem.
Now, after coming home, I've discovered I hate the shape the Dotty Spot gives me... (And my super efficient roommate who helped me unpack has snipped off the tags) And I'm really surprised to hear that it should be similar to Jasmine? Have I missed something? I thought Andorra and Jasmine were extremely alike. The Dotty Spot shape is SO different from Andorra (Andorra is not too projected on me, but very nice and round - Dotty spot was difficult for me to fill at the apex because it's so projected-ly pointy!)

I think you read my comment on Branarchists latest Jasmine adventure? I did not mean to spread the information that the Jasmine is like the Dotty Spot! The red floral Bravissimo exclusive Jasmine did gave a pointy shape on Branarchist compared to the pink Jasmine that gave her a round shape. So I was saying that "they might confused Jasmine pattern with Dotty Spot pattern since I never saw Jasmine looking that pointy on anyone :D " It was only joking. On me the red Jasmine in a 32K gives a round shape.
There are differences in the cut, so that might make each colorway fit a bit differently.
Oops irony on the internet can easily get lost in translation :D I'd say old Jasmine is more pointy and new is less pointy. I think new Jasmine should fit you well :) Better than Andorra.
Jasmine has room in the middle while Andorra hasn't. I love my Jasmine :) The new cut is the pink champagne :)
