Goth Bra Adventure!

I saw a mention in an adventure that it may be fun to have a goth bra adventure, and when I added a glass of wine to the thought, it sounded like a good idea.
Now, I'm an *old* goth, like "The Hunger"/ Bauhaus/ Sisters of Mercy/ Siouxsie Sioux ancient, so you kids may not be able to relate to that, but please bear with me. :) My personal aesthetic also runs to the Art Deco/ Egyptian Revival side of things, so that's another thing to keep in mind.
Anyway, these are my top 3 goth bras from my collection so far:
3. Panache Sienna (4471) - it's just all-around nice with its dark lace with muted jewel tone satin (we can pretend like the AW2011 black/pink colorway never happened).
2. Ewa Michalak Ch Pawie Oka (207) - if I were a Victorian heroine (and if Victorian heroines wore bras), I'd wear this one every day.
1. Freya Taylor (4971) - What's not to love about this bra? Nice dark colors with velvet trim, styling reminiscent of the Art Deco era, and cleavage into next week. I daresay this bra's geometric stylings may also work for the androgynous minded (with its bows and smidgen of lace removed), and maybe even steampunk (a genre which I admire, but haven't been able to get into, since I live in the middle of nowhere).
What are your favorite goth (or androgynous, or steampunk, etc) bras, and why?

  • Pour Moi? Promise (padded or unpadded) because of those awesome stripes!

  • Another Goth girl here, but grew up in the age of Marilyn Manson shock goth. But, I'm more into European metal, from Nightwish/Lacuna Coil type to Dissection to Rammstein and my die hard, will always be my favorite band Apocalyptica. There are reasons behind that love.

I call the Taylor more "business suit" look. But I did trim that annoying as heck lace off.

My top 6 in no real order than what I picked them up in.

1 - My purple Fauve FV0241GRP. At least that's what the tag says. Purple wine color, black mesh and lace overlay, corset lacing on the sides.

2 - Bra D'More. I'm not sure on the name, it's the leopard mesh and lace plunge. I removed the lace, tighten the mesh down and sewed up the center with it's bronze jeweled flower dangle. It's my steampunk bra.

3 - Curvy Kate Thrill Me in black - or ivory. Killer cleavage, I like the ruffle, I can't help myself.

4 - My blue and black lace sheer Faubourg. It's awesome. Dark but not boring.

5 - Curvy Kate silver and black Tease Me. Better known as the bra I wear with a near perfect match underbust corset.

6 - Curvy Kate Romance in charcoal. Because my hubby says so.

Or pretty much 95% of my bras since I have all but three in either cleavage enhancing (Elvira is my idol.....) or dark colors.

And yes, I really am horrible at remembering non Curvy Kate bra names.
