Settling...I'm doing it again
How much do I love having bras that fit? It's wonderful. Amazing.
And yet...why do I have bras that really DON'T fit? They're all brand new, but I'm so scatterbrained I don't remember where I got what. Thing is...I made the decision to settle for cups that gap. Why did I do that? Are the colors so pretty that I need to keep what doesn't fit?
I made the decision to list a couple of bras this morning. Kicking myself all the way down the street, as my grandfather used to say.
Better to have a few that I can't fit my whole hand in the top than a bunch that really don't fit well, right? RIGHT?

I've said it before and I don't mind repeating it for newcomers. Why do we expect a mass-production garment to fit our unique shapes perfectly? Clothes don't fit me right so I get them tailored.
Find a bra that is as close to what you consider perfect, and alter it or have it altered. Many of us here (and bloggers) have posted steps to alter bras, so just ask and someone can point you in the right direction to alter a bra (or tell you if you need something different to start with).
Thanks. I've seen some of the simple alterations some of you guys have made. I know the exact one I'd need to make on what I'm keeping. I just don't think I'm capable.
