Should I give up Fauve?

*sigh*

I received my Fauve Veronique Balcony Bra (0242) in 30D in the mail today, as a replacement for my Fauve Veronique Padded Half Cup (0241) in 30DD. Again, wrinkling on the sides galore, even tough the wires seem much narrower than the half cup. The lace on top is quite rigid, to be fair so is the rest of the bra, and doesn't seem to be very pleased with my wide root. I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, but it seems to be shape incompatibility, along with very rigid material.

I'm really confused, as I heard Fauve is supposed to be great for shallow shapes? But so far, I haven't had luck with these styles, and they seem to be the same cut as most of Fauve's models.

Should I give up on Fauve, or try more?

  • My impression over time is that Eveden bras have narrower wires than @Panache brands (on aggregate). Have you tried some @Masquerade styles? For a shallow shape I don't know which ones work best, unfortunately.

  • I'm actually narrow on the sides, but I haven't had as much problems with wide wires (creating wrinkles or otherwise) as with Fauve.

Yup, I own a Masquerade Rhea (6121) in 28E- the straps are too wideset and I get a tiny bit of gaping on my smaller breast, but a good fit otherwise. I also have a Masquerade Delphi (6411) in 28DD coming my way.
