Yesterday evening, my friend and I popped into a Tesco store to buy some late evening snacks on a night out. We wandered into the clothing department, and decided to try on some things, just for fun - dresses for me, bras for her (she's one of the sizes you can find on the high street).
I told her I'll pick a bra for her to try on, walked into the aisle, looked around - and saw nothing but continuity colors. There was one exception, though - a cute padded black bra with large pink polka dots. True, not to everyone's taste, but it was the only thing with at least a splash of color in it.
When my friend saw the bra, she made a face and said: "But, well, I think that a proper bra should be white, black or nude. I mean, whatever would I use a pink bra for?"

Well, under pink clothes...? But my mum is just the same, she doesn't get colour cordination or fun colours as at all... :(
We share an enthuasiasm for all girly things, but, for some reason, the true bra-fever that plagues me seems to evade her...
