A couple of months ago I bought 3 new bras and the pink "t-shirt bra" with full coverage gaped at the top and I stopped wearing it. I had a beautiful lace bra that has no gaping and I assumed it fit perfectly. A couple of months later I was wearing the bra and it is now one of my uncomfortable bras. It leaves red marks on my skin which I've read is normal. I assumed my band was too tight but upon further reading the bra band should not be able to rotate around the rib cage easily, therefore it's too large.

With this information I've redone my measurements and boy has my weight loss changed some measurements! My ribcage is down to a 31-32" and my breasts have gotten larger which I'm going to blame the birth control because I had noticed. My breasts have grown 2"! I'm also well aware that my breasts look small and these measurements I'm about to become a DD and I just am struggling to even think about trying on a DD when I thought I was a Bcup for a majority of my life. I do have wide root, shallow, full on bottom breasts. There's a lot of space between my breasts, achieving cleavage is a struggle.

Here I am trying to buy new bras because I can't go through classes uncomfortable.

  • I assume your bust measurement is 37" or 36"? I would try 32D or 32DD. The Cleo Juna is a pretty good starter bra for that (and the band is slightly stretchy, so it might feel better than something that isn't so stretchy). This is a pretty good list too: http://www.venusianglow.com/2012/09/small-breasts-with-broad-base.html

  • The thing about my breast measurements is that standing the measurement is 37" but bent over it's about 38.5"... Thank you for the bra recommendation, I'll definitely check it out!
