Sep 20, 2013 Yup. Whatevs.
Sure.
Whatever you say.
You say it's a UK G and then say that's an F in US sizes.
I tell you that you did the conversion backwards.
You tell me the ridic websites that you got your conversion from.
I tell you they're based on bad sizing and some stuff about informed/uninformed buyers.
You can't just say "thanks" and leave it at that. You have to get passive-aggressive at me, using my phrasing and sticking in a smilie face and all.
No need to get pissy and butthurt.
I'm just trying to help you to prevent the likely situation when some girl buys it and the thing is huge on her. She only bought it because she was expecting it to be an F-cup and she wears an F-cup in Wacoal and she doesn't know that in that brand it's more like a US I.
1. She gets pissed at you, possibly saying dinking your ebay seller ratings.
or.
2. She becomes more misinformed which affects her future bra-buying/-fitting adventures negatively.
I'd actually be more sad at #2 because at least she knew that F-cups existed and tried to buy her correct size. After buying the wrong one and getting frustrated, it's likely she won't find a place like Bratabase to figure out that there are different sizing systems and that's why the bra she got did not fit.
Anyway.
Good luck with your auctions.

Sorry she didnt take your advoce. I will jave to admit that sizing IS hard. The butterfly collection conversion doesnt even have an F size for ths USA. Yet all my bras says 30FF for both the USA and the UK.
Yup, the sizing thing *is* a pain in the butt. I agree agree! That's part of the reason why I say something or ask when it doesn't look right. She came back with WELL I GOT IT FROM USING CHARTS HERE AND HERE (I'm not even going to name the sites - they are very wrong) and pretended that was some kind of authority. I had to say something.
If she wrote in the listing exactly what was on the tag or just showed a picture of the tag and said something like, "this is a UK-based brand so please check your sizing before bidding," that would solve the whole problem.
I only wrote to her initially because she made a patently false statement about the US sizing instead of just saying it might be different and the size on the tag is ____.
If you have an old Fantasie (and I think Freya?) bra, they have different sizing for US and UK for the cup. (See the tag picture here: Fantasie Allure (7110) ) More recently, I think they just decided that US sizing was the same and stopped putting both on there. It adds to the confusion because other brands stick with the distinction.
