Open letter to Wacoal (slightly ranty)
Dear @Wacoal,
I, along with many of my larger cupped sisters are stranded in a bra desert known as the United States of America. For those of us fed up with ordering online, going to our local Dillard's is our only option. And when we get there, we get a glimmer of hope when we hear the words "yes, we do carry a ____-cup", only to have that hope crash and burn when your wares are brought to us in the fitting room. How do you let me down? Let me count the ways:
1. Torpedo boob. That cute pinup calendar in your bathroom that says 1952? It's just decoration--not an actual representation of the date.
2. "Minimizing"...not only do I have torpedo boob, but it's torpedo boob that makes me look fat because my boobs are smooshed into my armpits--boy that sure makes me feel sexy, let me tell ya.
3. A serious lack of color. Oh sure, you've got that one line in teeny cup sizes that has a few colors, but everything else is pretty much hideous mixes of black lace over a beige overlay.
4. Horizontal seaming. Why?! See grievances 1 & 2.
5. Two rows of hooks on far too many styles. Seriously, knock that crap off!! 3 or even 4 rows is best for the larger cup sizes, and probably the larger band/smaller cups as well.
6. I can't imagine any situation that calls for 4"+ gores, yet you have them on basically every bra that is over a G cup. Either cut them down or find a new wire supplier, that's ridiculous.
I will say one thing in your favor though, lest you think it's only a hate relationship. You have nice bands. They are pleasantly firm and consistently sized across all the models. And your cup sizes seem fairly consistent also. So good on you for that. Now you just need to work on pretty much everything else.

I agree, Wacoal has it's problems, and I agree with most of your points, but there's nothing wrong with torpedo boob. I really like the aesthetic sometime, but ONLY WHEN THE BRA LOOKS GOOD as well, and frankly, Wacoal makes granny bras. Also, horizontal seams can provide good shape (see the Andorra, Jasmine, and Ariza just to name a few).
Jillsas "Wacoal makes granny bras"
XD so true... they've come out with some cute fabrics recently but the cut...
