So I've had my share of good and bad fitting experiences but today took the proverbial biscuit when I went to what is regarded as a specialist bra shop with a better fitting technique and was fitted to my smaller side, even though my larger side was quadboobing (or double boobing?!). They also told me to stick with the 30 band even though they told me it was too loose at the back! It just seems to go against everything a bra-fitting is supposed to sort out...

Honestly... The reason I think people aren't responding to you (here on Bratabase) is because we're not even surprised, sadly. I'm really sorry for you though, that's not acceptable.
What really grinds my gears is when I point out that I have some fit issues and I know that I do and someone asks me, have you been professionally fitted? Not in recent days, but in the past... and the type of thing you described happened.
I'm in sales (not bra sales), I get needing to make a sale, but not when it goes against everything you're supposed to stand for (proper comfort and support?!)
It's unfortunate that we're left to figure out fit by ourselves, but thankfully online communities like this one exist, and super helpful ladies and blogs and whatnot; in order to help us find our comfortable fit and size. Good luck in your journey!
