Have you experienced a well-fitting bra band riding up when worn for a day?
The band is snug enough upon wearing it, but after hours, it starts to ride up. Should I have a smaller band then?

If it's only one bra, I think it would all depend on your comfort. It could be that the straps are too tight or simply the design of the bra. If you're being held where you should be and feel no pain or aches or too much weight on your shoulder, then I'd stick with it. If you do feel weight on your shoulders, try going down a band size and see if that's firm enough to help.
Some bras stretch out during the course of the day. I usually have to tighten my Panache Jasmines in the early afternoon.
It also might *not* be snug enough. When you first put it on, you aren't moving around, etc. I don't know how you are defining snug, though.
Try wearing it on a tighter hook and see how that goes, I'd say.
