"Prettiest bra you recently saw! Link us! :D"
I fell down the rabbit hole and ended up looking at custom bras on etsy. I think this is just The most darling thing http://www.etsy.com/listing/91895942/
I want one. But not only is it impractical, it's $200. Yikes. So what I want is a longline bra with corset-style lacing up the back and a big, overdramatic bow. Like, Curvy Kate Elegance (CK1401) or Masquerade Rhea (6121), but longline and laced up the back. That would be wonderful.

I wonder if the lace up design would be more stable/secure on a bra (if accompanied by proper boning for stability) than the usual hook and eyes? I'd think it would enable you to cinch a bra tighter, and you wouldn't have such reliance on elastic to provide the tension.
Now you've made me want to book myself in for a corset making class to find out about the construction methods behind the lacing. I need to get more funds to support this hobby. ;)
Ooh, maybe it would! Then we wouldn't have to worry about bands stretching out or anything because we could just cinch them tighter! And it would be great for sub-28 gals and people between bands :o Every bra would be a custom bra!
Haha make me one when you do ;)
