Curvy Kate "Tease Me" in Ivory/Pink? What size do I need?

So this whole Curvy Kate fitting differences depending on what season it's from is really confusing to me. Some bands are said to be true to size, some are really loose, some cups are 1 to 3 sizes too small...

Does anyone know about the Ivory/Pink colourway? Bratabase says it is SS2012. I don't have many well known bra models that actually fit. I have for reference the Masquerade Rhea in 36G in ice blue which is currently my best fitting bra, but I bulge out of just a little bit (after altering the straps to sit closer together), and the 36GG Rhea is too big/tall in the cups. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Edit: I forgot to mention that I've never tried any CK bras in general, and I hear that the Showgirl collection tends to run smaller compared to other brands. So I really have no idea what size to consider!

  • The Showgirl collection runs a lot looser in the band than the regular part of the Curvy Kate line, which, if anything runs tight in the band. The Showgirl plunges runs super-small in the cup, the half cups are not especially of at all in my opinion, but it depends on what you compare with.

Rhea runs big in thge cup compared to most styles and brands, so you will need to size up. I would suggest two cup sizes from your Rhea size, so a 36H. They are quite a bit looser in the band though, so a 34HH or a 32J is probably what you would need. The problem is that they stop at a cup size smaller. So, a 32HH or a 34H is the best you'll be able to find.

  • Thank you Nesoa that helps a lot! Would you say that the Rhea and Tease me have an almost identical fit/shape? I ask because I find it weird that I have a different bra in the same UK size and measured depth to depth, it's the same as my 36G Rhea. Yet there's gaping at the top, but I think that has to do with it being a plunge and cause I never altered the strap position.

The two 36G bras measured at 11.5 inches depth and there's a Tease me on bratabase in size 34H which shows depth as 11.8 so I guess I'm also worried about having to alter the straps on the Tease Me because literally every new bra in my new found size have been too far into my armpits.
