Thoughts on this article?
My dad sent me a link to this article (http://www.salon.com/2014/02/24/my_boobs_my_burden_partner/?source=huffpo), so I don't know the website or the context.
I'm trying to decide how I feel about the article. Nothing particularly untruthful, I think, but ultimately I don't think I liked it. It didn't really say anything productive or helpful, and ended kind of poorly. Also, using the photo of Christina Hendricks kind of makes me unhappy, because I feel like she likes to flaunt her boobs without actually caring for them properly (that dress look so uncomfortable!).
I wish she had used the opportunity to share the wonders of a properly fitting bra and how even you too can have such a thing, and how cup size is relative to band size and that "big boobs" are widely varied and not necessarily as tied to cup size as she seems to imply. I don't know, just thinking things through..
My boobs, my burden
I thought that with cleavage came power. But as my breasts swelled to a 32G, I found the opposite to be true

Seriously? It's ridiculous! You and I both know she's bigger than a G cup. I like that someone is addressing the possibilities of wearing bigger than a DDDD cup but seriously she is bigger than any G cup I have seen.
:)
I could relate to a lot of what the author was saying, but I felt like she was trying to get the reader to feel sorry for her, and that's what rubbed me the wrong way.
