Search for the smooth cup...

Sooo new to the world of dressing up the girls as I like to call them. After years of working at Victoria Secret thinking America fears the BOOBIE! I was a 38FF at the time now having lost over 47 lbs and no longer in the land of the must be petite and sweet; It's wonderful knowing my actual size 34HH only to find so many options and alternate "Sister Sizes" to try but struggling to find smooth cup "T-Shirt" bra options and I have this seam running that can bee see through my tops, it's like ugh. I don't want to have to wear layers to try and mask it. Any suggestions?

  • There really aren't many smooth cup options over GG/H cup. You could always try one and sister size into it. Here are some options:

Freya Deco (4234) (stops at GG, but is known to run large)
Curvy Kate Smoothie Moulded Bra (CK2401)
Fantasie Ava Underwire Molded Plunge Balcony (2132)
Fantasie Smoothing Moulded T-shirt Bra (4510)
Fantasie Rebecca Spacer Moulded Bra (2024)

Basically, anything with the word "moulded/molded" (some places spell it differently) is going to give you that seam-free look (so you can search for more in Bratabase.) Moulded cups are made from just one piece that has been shaped accordingly instead of several pieces sewn together. Most companies have found moulded cups don't offer enough support over a certain cup size, which is why they basically don't exist for us H+ cup girls.

  • I used to prefer molded as a FF but now as an H cup there are not many options and the few I've tried were ill fitting and/or unsupportive. I've come to the conclusion that they just aren't supportive enough for me. I like a bra to pull me in from the sides and a molded cup will never do that. If I ever go down in cup size I will give molded a try again. I also used to hate seams showing but now I just don't care. I'd rather show seams in a nice pulled together shape than a smooth look with splayed out and wobbly breasts. Seams often soften up quickly and are barely noticeable, if at all. However I am curious about Elomis new molded bra Bijou but Elomi tends to give me east west in general. It only goes up to H though.
