What would make a bras wires come out prematurely? I had only worn the bra about three times and while driving to Detroit I felt the right wire poking me and by the time I made it into the hotel the left wire was out as well. :(

  • Usually it's due to one of two things: Poor fit or too much wear.

If you have measured yourself and you know you're in the right size, I would contact whomever you purchased the bra from and let them know what happened, since you obviously haven't worn it too much.

I do suggest measuring yourself using the calculator on Curvy Wordy's website, found here: http://www.sizemapp.com/en/tutorial

I've used it and I find it to be accurate.

  • Was this a long drive, meaning you were seated and possibly somewhat hunched forward for a long time? If you have a large, heavy bust and anatomy that means there isn't a lot of space at the front of your body vertically when you sit (for example I have a short torso and a bit of a mummy tummy, so this is the case for me) it might just have been too much pressure for the wire casings to take.

You should definitely still complain and get your money back though, because it's inexcusable for a bra to be so flimsy that its wearer can't wear it for a long drive without it falling apart!
