Wacoal Retro Chic Full Figure bra, cup stretchiness?

Anyone who knows what the Wacoal Retro Chic Full Figure Underwire Bra (855186) is like? I've been interested in trying it for a long time because I think the high apex looks cool and it just seems comfy in general. I'm looking at the measurements provided for it and 32DDD says 24.7 cm or what it was (cup depth) and that's a bit bigger than what usually fits me, but it could work if the cups are on the stiffer side, because my boobs are quite firm so any firm material, my boobs would fight. Softer fabrics I do better with sizing down in the cups. Can anyone who owns this bra or have tried it fill me in about the stretchiness of the cups?

  • As I recall, the cups aren't stiff but they aren't stretchy, either. The material is soft but without much stretch. I hope you find the right size!

  • Are in the US? I usually see it in department stores. You could go and give it a good grope ;-)

It looks like a mesh cup with lace overlay. Mesh tends to "warm up" and mold to the shape of the breast with wear, i.e. loses its stiffness, but does not stretch much per se. True lace cups (actually made entirely of lace) fit like cast iron, they do not stretch and have fantastic support. Good luck finding an affordable full fit bra that is entirely made of lace though!
