That moment you receive your new-to-you bra in the mail, and it's not that it smells bad, it's just that it smells very, very strongly of someone else's perfume -- strongly enough to permeate the whole room. And you realise the ebay seller was stretching the truth when she said it had been "only tried on."

Ah well. I needed to do some bra laundry anyway.

  • Some laundry soaps are really strong, that could have been it..and I think maybe some people spray their stuff with perfume before selling,I don't know.Marks and Spencers stuff always has a certain smell no matter who I buy it from on Ebay UK,so does ASOS,weirdly enough.

  • This one's definitely perfume-based. Probably made worse by the fact that it's padded cups and they've been stuffed into a sealed envelope for the last 2-3 weeks. I'm sure an airing out and a wash will solve everything. (It does make me wish for a store that stocks those difficult-to-find brands, so I can see them and try them on in person before guess/hoping they'll look good and fit!)
