Sister size questions
I ordered a Panache Idina the other day and it's the closest I've come to bra happiness in a long time. Catch is, it's at least a cup size too small, but I only need more depth. And every time I have gone up cup sizes in the past it makes for wider wires, wider set straps, and generally a taller gore--all of which are things I *don't* need.
Should I go down a band size and up two cup sizes to keep the other stuff where I want it? Going down a band size would put me at -1 (I'm an odd numbered underbust measurement), and I'm a bit nervous that it might be uncomfortably tight.
P.S. If you are like me and can't stand itchy lace or picot elastic edging because it makes your skin red and irritated, you might want to check this one out. It has smooth fold over type elastic along the upper cup which might be too tight for super-full on top boobs (mine are balanced to full on top) and no lacy crap along the underneath.

You can use the advanced search to enter the measurements of your Idina and see what's there for more cup depth.
Or you can enter your bra and go to the size page and use the "Explore by measurements" to see what other bras maintain the wires and have greater depth.
This example starts off from an Panache Idina Balconnet Bra (6961) 30GG and goes two steps for deeper cups but maintaining the other measurements the same:
http://www.bratabase.com/browse/panache/idina-balconnet-bra-6961/30GG/explore/?bust_perimeter_step=0&band_length_step=0&stretched_band_length_step=0&cup_depth_step=2&cup_width_step=0&wire_length_step=0
The result is a selection of bras 30H that have deeper cups but not wider cups.
Is your Idina a plunge or a balconette? The band on my Idina balconette stretched out a LOT during the first few months of wear, so I think you'd be fine with sizing down in the band, especially if it's only -1.
Edit: Forgot to mention, mine is beige, the black one might run differently. And I agree, the smooth elastic is great!
