Should I re-try Ewa Michalak or should I walk away?

Ok, so I need some advice as to whether I should re-try Ewa Michalak or if I should just not even consider them. I had a Ewa Michalak Hm Magnolia (176) in 65F (too small band) and Ewa Michalak Hp Cielus (190) in 65F and 65FF (cups too big) bras. They didn't really work for me so I got rid of them.

But I really want to try either the Ewa Michalak Sm Margot (434) or the Ewa Michalak Sm Czarna Mgie\u0142ka (481) . I like sheer bras and those two really appeal to me. I was thinking getting either one in 70F since those measurements are the closest to my best fitting bras, the 30F - Cleo » Lizzie (5861) and the 30F - Cleo » Melissa (6991) (although the band on this one is too small, the cups are fine). The EM bras have slightly bigger cups, so I don't know if it'll work for me.

My shape in a nutshell:
- Shallow, I don't have much projection. I would say the breast tissue is spread out on my chest.
- Fuller on top but not very full on top.
- Boobs sit close together, wide gores tend to be a problem for me.
- I have a wider root, but my breasts don't really go back much past my arm pits. I would not say I have narrow roots.

If anyone can give some advice that would be awesome! Ewa Michalak has a really short return window and I'm already having some trouble selling a couple bras on here, so I'd like to figure this out before I decide to blow my money.

Thanks!

  • Have you used the EM calculator? I wear a 70F in EM and if I put my BTT measurements under tight and my snug under loose, it throws up the right size. (For me. I know a lot of people have had inconsistent results with her calculator, but you sound close to my size range so thought it worth mentioning.)

For what it's worth, I wear a 30FF in most UK bras, and the cups on the 65FF in EM CHP fit perfectly but the band is too tight; the 70 band is perfect but the F cup runs small - I've heard that's just a quirk of EM bras tho. I've never tried the HM or HP cuts.

Your shape sounds pretty similar to mine, so going by my experience, if you wear a 30F, I'd actually suggest you try the 70E. I find the cup depth measurements of a well-fitted EM bra look shallower than the equivalent UK bras, because it's meant to be less coverage.

I find the CHP wires are the perfect width for me; the SM are a hair too narrow, but not worrisomely.

  • No, I haven't tried the calculator. I'm generally skeptical of calculators in general, other than finding a starting point which I already have. I prefer measurements because I can use that to compare personal experience (getting a little off topic here...)

I will give it a shot though, just to see what it says. :)
