Being Between Sizes is the Pits.
Just re-did my measurements, and of course there's not a calculator anywhere that gets it right thanks to my barrel chest. 30H/HH or 28HH/J? lol. 30GG is slightly too big.
So, I am apparently now...wait for it...
a 29 G 1/2. If only such a size existed.
Oddly enough, being a between sizer seems to mean I'm roughly the same size in UK and Polish brands (that run in UK-esque sizing). (30G-GG/28GG-H UK, 65GG ish Ewa Michalak and Kris Line). So on the one hand, it makes things easier. My starting size is the same across the board.
On the other hand, it makes them infinitely more complicated. Kind of glad I didn't sell ALL of my 30GGs. I still have a Freya and a Fantasie. They're a wee bit big. Ok. the bands on both are absolutely too big, but can wear them on the tighter hooks or alter them down, and cups - well, the Fantasie is at least an inch too wide, maybe more, and the Freya is a little too big across the board, but both are wearable, and my 30G/28GGs are just a wee bit small. Just enough to be kind of uncomfortable before the work day is over.
Apparently, I don't get to have a bra that just fits at the moment. My options are slightly too big, or slightly too small.
The bra insanity continues...body o' mine, seriously, wasn't fingers and feet at quarter sizes bad enough? Wasn't my XXS ass bad enough? Now my boobs are between sizes, too? Not cool, and not funny. Body, enough with the practical jokes!

We may have similar bodies... I have a tiny butt (panties always fall off or bunch in the back, and I wore a kid's large back when I weighed a bit less) and calculators always guess me a few cup sizes too large, probably due to my ribcage being pretty large at the top and then tapering to my waist. I'm currently around a 30H/HH, but most calculators think I should be in a 30J/JJ. Sigh.
Anyway, when I'm between sizes, I usually go for the slightly larger one and use cookies OR buy the smaller one and pray (fruitlessly) that my boobs shrink.
I have the kind of butt that makes going to the movies hard. 2 hours of sitting? Ow! :). I buy my pants in the juniors section.
So, sounds like! I have a very prominent upper torso. Projected sternum, tapered, barrel shaped, gigantic shoulders for my frame, tiny wrists and legs, no hips or butt at all. Can't shake the upper tummy flab and love handles, but not much going on below the belt.
The bigger size isn't so big I would need an insert, but it's just big enough to lose some support. And of course the wider wires are tough to cope with, but I'll just have to deal.
I was just so happy to ha e cracked the G barrier, being back in a GG is disappointing! My Gs are still very wearable, just not ideal for a long day.
Right now I'm praying that the Kris Line and Ewa bras I ordered fit when they finally arrive! (not as much as I'm praying whatever is wrong with my a/c is covered under the service contract though...maybe I'll melt back down to a G by Thursday when the tech gets here...)
What's crazy is my weight hasn't changed at all, just my boobs. How do my measurements change and my weight not change? Does not compute.
