Really confused over fit and type of bra to go for next.

I have tried on various different bra brands and styles and none seem to fit. I am just about to send another 4 back and want to reorder but not sure what styles to go for. I believe I have separated breasts with narrow roots that end just at my armpit. I am measuring at a 28DD or 30D in most bras however I think I still dont have the shape right. I want a bit of cleavage so would prefer padded styles. My issues with fit are as follows:
1) I get armpit bulge, probabaly from years of wearing a too small size
2) While I completely fill a cup when standing, as soon as I bring my arms forward I get the top of the cups being pushed out and gaping.
3) Some bras make me appear squashed and flattened.
I believe a plunge style will suit me better than balconettes which look very straight across on me.
The styles I have tried and do not fit are:
Evollove Twilight Longline
Just Peachy lace padded balconnette
Freya Hopscotch longline
Panache idina balconette
Freya patsy balconnete
Curvy kate elegance
Freya secret garden
Curvy kate desire multiway
Freya Jolie
Cleo Juna

Does anyone have any idea of what styles to try. I think I may need narrower wires with slightly wider tops of cups to keep the armpit bulge in? I dont know if this shape even exists. Any suggestions would be really helpful. Here is a link from my fitting request. As you can see the balconnete seems to cut me off across the top.

Thanks in advance

  • Just so you know, armpit bulges aren't always an indication of a too small cup or even breast tissue not where it's supposed to be. In many cases it's the tail of spence, which is while technically breast tissue, very difficult to encapsulate and often uncomfortable to do so, so bare that in mind.

From your description it sounds like you're not as shallow as most people in your size range and would do better with slightly deeper styles that are a suited for full on bottom breasts. Most of your bras are fairly shallow. I'd try out the Cleo Lucy to see how that works out. It won't really create cleavage, but I think it would be comfortable for you and suit your shape well. I can't think of anything else and unfortunately, I'm not an expert in this size range, so maybe someone else can chime in?

  • I have a similar shape (separated breasts with narrow roots, full on bottom) and I have had enormous luck with Polish bras. You may consider trying plunges from EM and Comexim, as the wires are fairly narrow overall.
About armpit fat- unfortunately, there's not much to be done about it. You could scoop it in and it'll make it less severe (like in my case), but it will not truly go away.
