Successfully bravangelized my mom!

It's been a long and sneaky process, starting around last October. Every time I've come back around to visit my parents, my mom and I usually go shopping, and when she's asked if I need more bras, I comment on how I usually can't find 28GGs and 30Gs in stores (very tragic). She seemed a little nonplussed at this stage, though it was clear my bras were a good fit under my clothes. Then, she realized that all my bras in those sizes were actually *pretty*! She became interested then. I spoke about how awesome fitting bras are when she then asked about them. Moral of the story? Sometimes it's good to let them come around by being sneaky about it than by trying to actively convert them!

I'm visiting currently, and just last night she asked me to help fit her, so we'll be doing that later this week before I head back to university. I'll get to teach her about Brastop, Zulily, Figleaves, and here. Yay! :')

  • Congrats! It's a great feeling to know that they're in their right size.

  • Congrats! I tried sneaky for 3 years. Finally I told my mom "If your underbust actually measures 36 inches, I will never bother you about this again." Now I'm working on finding my mom a 34D in a price point she'll actually pay, and a shape that will work. But, she's finally conceded that I'm right, and told me I should work at a bra store. lol. (sure, if I could pay the bills on that salary. :D haha)
