Plus-size sports bra
Oh, so I suppose my new bra-fit knowledge applies to sports bras too. Duh!
In preparation for a new exercise regime I tried on my current sports bra and immediately realized it is not going to cut it. Not at all. The wires fall FAR short of encompassing my breast tissue. I am astounded that I thought this was a decent fit when I bought it several months ago!
Sadly, I am not finding many sports bra options in my size range (UK 40HH/J). The Panache Sport Sports Bra (5021) gets such great reviews that I just may try it in its largest size, a 40GG. (It can’t possibly be a worse fit than my current ridiculously ill-fitting sports bra.) On the other hand, the Elomi Energise Underwire Sports (8040) does come in 40HH but the reviews here are fairly lackluster.
Perhaps I’ll wear my snuggest, most full-coverage non-sports bra for working out. I won’t be doing a lot of super high-impact activity … I mostly just want the girls to stay out of my way. Do you ever wear a regular bra for working out … or do you have any other suggestions?

I've heard pretty good things about the Elomi Energise but oh well.
I recommend the route of the underwired bra under a non underwired sports bra in this size range.
I personally like my Lynx sports bra and get no bounce (literally mean none at all). Not sure if their sizing works out for your measurements but that might be worth looking into. Enell might also be worth looking into as I've heard pretty good things about them too. Unfortunately for both of these, if it's separation that you look for, you won't get it with those bras alone.
You can also try Freya Active Underwire in 38J and 38JJ with an extender. That's pretty much all I can think of otherwise. Good luck!
OMG I love love love love the Panache Sport Sports Bra - it literally changed my life (and I am beyond sad I have lost heaps of weight and therefore my boobs literally fall out of the top of mine now when I'm doing downward dog at yoga, so seriously need to get a new one). I always found the cups rather generous on it, and the style rather forgiving if it verges on the slightly too small (due to the construction, which I can't explain as I'm not good at the descripty words like that :P). Please please please at least try it on somewhere, I SO love it :D (I appreciate not everyone feels the same way about it as me, but it literally was SUCH a game changer for me with regards to exercise I'm slightly evangelistic about it now. Apologies to those who don't feel the same way :o)
