Panache Tango Classic vs Tango II?

I normally size up in the band in Panache/Cleo bras (from 36 to 38) because I find the band is too tight to wear otherwise, especially when the band is made of a tight power mesh like the Jasmine. However, I recently found this to not be the case with the Tango II Plunge - hello, stretchy band! I'm wearing it on the third set of hooks and I love it so I'm going to replace it with my usual size. Got a great deal, so no harm done. But I also am eyeing a plain beige Tango Classic. Anyone out there own both styles? Would you recommend the same size band in both? Does the Classic have more of a tight power mesh band or a stretchy elastic band?

  • I don't have a tango II but I do own a Tango classic plunge in a 32F. The issue that I have encountered with the T classic P is not in the band (which is firm, but does stretch moderately, not as much as my Envy or Andorra do though) but the later development in the lack of stretch in the upper cup. I am balanced instead of FoB or FoT with tall and wide roots. I had it marked as one of my bras that fit originally, but due to the changes in fit that occurred with hand wash and hang drying I have since moved it to the bras that don't fit.
