Finally got to go to Nordstrom Rack on Saturday. They didn't have much in my size range, but I did get to try on a Freya Ooh La La Plunge Balcony Bra (1481) , in a 34FF. The band was too big as I figured it would be based on reviews. The cups were too wide and tall just as bras always are, maybe just too big? I think I might be able to try a 32FF without losing too much bottom projection, if I can find one.

Does anyone know if any of Freya's similar cuts might work better?

  • All of Freya's sheer cup bras have a very similar cut. Arabella and Ooh La La are the deepest, with Arabella being very closed up top and designed for FoB breasts, and Ooh La La being a bit more open. But any of Freya's sheer cup bras will fit similarly, with good lower depth, wires that are narrower than Freya's non sheer balcony bras (though not necessarily narrow by my standards), and a pretty similar overall construction. So you can likely try any of the sheer styles and get a similar fit, but one that might be just different enough to be a better fit. The cup height doesn't change much, though, so if the cups are too tall, and not just too big, that's not likely to change with similar Freya bras, since Freya really only has 3 or 4 cuts that they recycle.

  • Cup height isn't something that seems to change much period. :/ Maybe it just seems that way cuz I'm at the end of the bell curve, idk. I guess Arabella might be worth a try.
