Measuring the breast perimeter

I've been wondering if there's a way to correctly measure your breast perimeter? I know to bend over and so on, and bratabase says to measure from my outer ribs, where the breast stop. But how do I know where it stops? How do I know how far up my ribs to measure from? I've tried bending to the sides too, but it doesn't really create any form of crease of anything I can use as a reference for measuring.
Do you others also have this problem? I just want to measure correctly, but I can't figure out how to.
When I measure myself I get the same measurement as 4 months ago. But I've lost 10 pounds and I no longer have double boob in certain bras, so I think my breasts are a tiny bit smaller. But when I measure my perimeter I get the same number so I'm probably measuring wrong.
On a side note, since losing weight my bras don't create double boob anymore, as mentioned. However, my curvy kate tease me gives me more double boob now, which it didn't do before! How can this be? Breast tissue which have migrated back into breasts instead of armpit?

  • I have that same problem with knowing how far to measure for the perimeter. I just can't seem to find a clear place that definitely says 'this is no longer breast tissue'. You're not alone!

  • Exactly! I do all kinds of weird movements and bend in all sorts of shape to figure out where the breast "ends". I can't figure out what is the breast, migrated tissue and the fat or excess skin. Maybe working out would help me haha.
