I bought 2 bras from US brand.
Although they are both 36g (us size)
the fits are extremly different.
(My size is 34g/36ff)

One is Lunaire sports bra,
whose band was so tight I could barely fasten it.
(Maybe tighter than Panache sports 34 band?!)
The cups are way too big like freya deco's 36gg.

Another is Lilyette lace minimizer bra.
It is worse than Lunaire ,
fits like my 38e size berlie sports bra.
Massive quadboop with riding up.

Even though I had to pay $10 for international shipping
and will have to do more $10 again
I will return them:(

Very disappointed because their qualities are so great
I really wanted they fit.

  • US sizes are all over the place after D cup, most of the time though they are about 1.5- 2 cup sizes smaller than UK. Maybe you could take the measurements and list them here on bratabase to sell?

  • You probably need around a 36H in US bras, depending on the brand. Natori cup sizes run very small but bands run huge. Wacoal runs consistent in the band and large in the cups. I can almost wear a 34H (technically a 34FF in UK) in Wacoal bras, but I need at least a 34GG/H in UK brands. And I'm completely sized out of Natori's H cups. I've tried Panache models in 34FF that don't even cover my nipple and seem about 5 cup sizes too small. The sizes are not at all commensurate with UK sizes. It was not helpful when bra fitters told me that a 34FF is a 34H US because it is NOT. I wasted a lot of money thinking these would fit.

Lunaire bands do run very tight. The first time I was fitted, it was as a 34DDD (wrong) -- and I had the same experience with Lunaire, except I didn'nt find the cups large enough. I've never tried Lilyette, but I would say neither brand has a reputation for being sturdy or very good for cups above a D. They are 2 of the very few brands available to us here that go up to at least a G, but I can't wear them at all. Same with Olga and Bali.

I'm not sure where you live, but if you're in the UK, I'd say you're much better off sticking with brands there if you can. The reason we in the US have to look to Poland and the UK for bras is that we don't have many options here at all. If French brands like Le Mystere or Chantelle are available to you, they're also worth trying.
