sweating and trying on bras

Do any of you also have trouble trying on bras in store dressing rooms because of boob sweat? I've realized this is part of the reason I've overestimated my band size for so long. I'm not coordinated enough to hook the bra in the back -- I have to do it in front and then twist it around. This causes major chafing and is very difficult if I have even a hint of boob sweat when I try to do it in the right band size. So in the store, a 36 band will feel snug, but once I get it home I realize it doesn't provide any support at all. It happens in summer and winter. I don't think air-conditioning circulates well in little closed off dressing rooms, and they feel stuffy to me in winter heating as well. And bras just make me sweat. Maybe if I get one of these cotton ones in Melissa Dessous to wear when I go bra shopping, things will get better..

  • Stuffy dressing rooms in bra boutiques is a pet peeve of mine. This environment is not going to help them make sales. I practiced a lot until I could fasten bras behind my back. It's still exhausting sometimes.

  • It even happens in large department stores like Nordstrom. Ugh... But yes, it does make the process that much more difficult.
