Went to a different Nordstrom today (the one at Perimeter Mall that stocks all the Freyas now that mine doesn't) looking for a sports bra, and was approached by a salesperson (Kim) who was nice and probably helpful, I think, or she would have been if this other girl hadn't sniped her sale.
She was pushy and really not helpful. When I said I was looking for a 30FF it took her a few minutes to process that I wasn't asking for a fitting. I tried on the Freya Active Moulded Sports Bra (4892) (I think) and a Natori , which both fit about the same, btw, and the Freya Jungle Fever Plunge Balcony Bra (1591) because it was listed as a "plunge balcony" and I decided to see what the shape would be like on me. Well, both sports bras have a super high gore which was ok, although I'd prefer a wireless style that high, but the saleslady informed me that after 15 minutes on the treadmill it won't matter because everything from stray hairs to every article of clothing will bother me, and that she didn't see much reason not to get both.
I don't really go to gyms, but my job is pretty physical and I haven't had a sports bra in like 2 years so I AM looking for one, but this was silly, so I dismissed it and said I'd think about it while trying on the last bra. The Jungle Fever was definitely made for someone other than me, because it is sheer mesh and animal print (not my favorite combo), cut in and gave me quadboob AND wrinkled like crazy across the whole cup because it projected inches past my boobs, came up too high in the center, and was very definitely sitting on breast tissue on the side. I could barely get my hands in to swoop-and-scoop. When I frown at it in the mirror and start mentioning these things, oh-so-helpful fitting assistant says, "Yeah, but it doesn't look that bad to me" and "I dunno, there's just something about it I like on you".
I left without buying anything. Bleh.

Good lord, that is someone who is NOT meant to be in sales. Of anything. And of course she says there's just something about it that she likes on you - as in, she would like you to buy it! You could have only been able to fit one boob into it, and possibly even tell her that you planned to wear it when you skydive because the straps are perfect for attaching a parachute to - and in all likelihood she would have still said "yeah, well, I think it looks fine!"
Ugh, another incompetent bra salesperson at Nordstrom. Thank God you knew enough and were strong enough to stand your ground and leave without buying anything!
