Taking in a longline?
Ok, so my gorgeous curvy kate Carmen arriwed a few days ago, and while the cups fit (only gaps a little at the top, but I'm FOB so not too surprised, the band is a catastrophe. I ordered it in 28, because that's how tight it goes, and is normally what I wear. It seems yo be unevenly tight, the bottom part of the band fits me like a glow, but the top is HUGE. I get litterally no support and there's almost 1.5 cm between the Gore and my sternum.
So i decided to take it in. I have Done this on normal bras before but never on a longline. How should I do? Should I sew a straight seem on the wing like I'd normally do, and then wear it on different hooks (ie the tightest on top and tre second on bottom? Or do o sew a slightly ageled seem and wear it on the same set of hooks?
The mesh on the wings seems quite delicate, and I really don't want to ruin it.

I would advise sewing a straight seam starting from the bottom. You might actually find that doing it this way will still allow you to wear it all on the same hooks. If you find that the top is still too loose, you should be able to stitch a slightly graded angle from the straight seam and starting just above the bottom set of hooks. Just make sure the first seam you do isn't too far over or you'll probably end up with the entire back being too tight.
Oh, and if you have a machine to do this on, set your stitch length to a little longer.
