Weird question

Is it possible to pull a muscle under your boob? I made the extremely poor decision of jumping off a 10 meter diving platform, and my boobs did the thing where they were weightless for a bit but then came thunking down when gravity happened again (I know, extremely scientific terminology). The top of my breasts are really sore today and it feels like I pulled a muscle there. Is that even possible?

  • I don't know what happened to your poor boobs, but, OW!

  • Well, you have pectoral muscles on your chest so you may have done something to one of those muscles, or it could be your breast tissue itself that did not appreciate the vertical whiplash! If it lasts more than a couple days you might want to have it checked out, especially if you think you can feel some swelling under there. My dad actually tore his pectoral muscles on one side when weightlifting--they detached completely from the bone. That was an extreme case obviously and you would know if you'd done something that bad, but you can also have lesser tears to those muscles.
