Bra frustration

I'm barely excited any more about upcoming bra collections. (In my early days on Bratabase I used to be very interested in new bra collections but nowadays I barely keep up with what's going on. To me it's just a bunch of pretty bras that don't come in my size and if they do, they won't fit me anyway.

I just wish i had a few pretty bras that fit well and that don't hurt me. I wish to open my bra drawer in the morning and have a choice between a few decent bras.

Usually it goes like this when I look at the bras in there: No, hurts me. No wires at my back. No, this one isn't supportive. No, severe quadboob. No, what is this bra even doing here? Oh no, why is *insert bra that is the least badly fitting one I own at the moment* in the laundry!!! I wore my Ariza again today, it was horrible. Why do even bras that used to fit me at a smaller size not fit me now (in bigger sizes obviously)?

  • Proportions change dramatically the same person goes through a change in sizes. As a 32E I could wear many designs in 5-6 mainstream brands that are completely off limits to me now as an FF/G--I'm not sized out but I'm shaped out.

  • I went from a 30J/JJ to a 32K/KK. As a 30JJ I could wear Panache Tango and Ariza and did not have the wires at my back. I considered myself having a medium wide root back then. Panache bras were really good for me. (there were some exceptions too) But now that my boobs got bigger they got more projected and fuller on top but my root stayed the same, so all the K-cup bras wires end somewhere 2-3 cm behind my root. Weirdly a 36J Sculptresse bra has good wires for me. So I need currently the wide width of a J-cup but the cup depth of a KK. :(
