So, I sent Freya an email basically asking them why they couldn't make their sheer bras fully sheer in sizes like 30H, yet they can do so for 38G. I explained that a few of my friends and several bloggers had removed the panels from within the bra and found no difference in the support given, among other things. They've been giving me a complete run around for a while now - first I was basically dismissed with a "that's not my department" reply, then when I pressed on, I was finally referred to the design department (apparently asking if they just don't think that girls with larger busts can be sexy too is inflammatory enough to elicit a response). After another week or so, I was told that despite the fact that it is supportive enough for a 38G, the mesh could not support the weight of a 30H set of breasts. Clearly whoever it was that sent that reply doesn't quite understand how bra sizes work, but I appreciate the time that they took to send me a single fragment of a sentence (not even a complete sentence) in response to my paragraph-long inquiry. I returned an email asking if it had something to do with the size of the band and how the mechanics of that would work, but it's been weeks now and I haven't heard back from them. Does anyone actually have an answer for this? I'm pretty sure that even if they get their act together and start making longlines in HH & J cups, even that isn't good enough to convince me to buy from them after this delightful exchange.

  • I had much the same response when I suggested that the Freya Deco Halfcup should go above F cup. The general gist of the answer is that 'higher cup sizes do not require the freya deco half cup'. Useless!
