Full-on-bottom breasts' dilemma

Today, I received my two Miss Mandalay Paige bras in the mail. One thing I learned today was narrow underwires seemed to suit me best, when I had always thought that my own breasts were wide-set (??). I guess not!

The one thing that us girls with full-on-bottom breasts consistently have issues with is getting wrinkles at the top of the cups with everything fitting correctly. I found the narrower wires on these bras to be perfect, the band is snugger than any other 28 I have ever worn, nothing is spilling out and I feel anchored and secure. But I had wrinkling! Albeit the wrinkles were not bad, they were verticle and at the top of the cups on the sheer panel. There weren't much either. However I don't want to size down because the wires are just perfect for me and the wrinkles aren't super noticeable under shirts.

Does anyone else have this problem though? My left breast which is larger seems to be the one that has wrinklier cups... :/ Which is strange because in most cases the opposite is true, so I truly think this is a shape problem rather than a size problem. Also, I recommend anyone between a 26-28 band to try Miss Mandalay bras. I measure 27 and to me, the fit was perfect. If you are a true 28 who likes moderately snug bands, it may be too tight for you though.

  • Could the wire on the bigger breast be a touch too narrow? Also, where are the wrinkles in the cup? Around the nipple?

Sometimes wrinkles in the cup are caused by too narrow wires. This would explain why it happened on the bigger breast.

  • Perhaps, but my one Curvy Kate bra (Portia) which has wider wires, gives me the same problem. :/ Maybe it is the "orange in a glass" effect- I noticed that there was a fold on the bottom of the cups on the larger one. I adjusted my bra accordingly so the bulge disappeared, and I still had the wrinkling problem. The wrinkles are located on the sheer panel near the straps and run vertically. Perhaps I shall try bras like Freya Arabella which have particularly tight upper sections.
