Oct 13, 2014 -- Evenness and Exclamations

Today someone on reddit mentioned that a great indicator of upper fullness was the Cleo Marcie, which is a new addition to my ever-growing bra collection but is probably the most perfect fit I have had!

At first I was extremely distressed as I thought, "I was leaning towards FoB or perhaps even, and it turns out I am FoT?!" I see now on the ABTF shape guide, it says if bras from both lists fit well, it is a pretty good indicator of evenness. Phew! I have not had the chance to try any more bras from the list, but I can be happy in accepting that I am probably just more even than I once thought.

Afterthought note to leave in parting -- today I put on my Marcie while standing in front of a mirror around my sister. Without thinking, I exclaimed, "Look at how happy my boobs look!" She thinks I am even weirder. Sorry I get excited about bras !

  • Yep. I'm even and both Marcie and Lucy fit well. (I do have soft tissue. If you're even but with firm tissue, a true FOB-friendly bra may not be so kind to your boobs.) I wonder how many of us initially think we're FOB simply because we're so used to our old, ill-fitting bras gaping at the top of the cups? I thought I was FOB and shallow. Turns out I'm actually even and average projection for my size range. Heh. Took a few mis-fits to convince me and unwrite all those preconceptions, though!

  • kitsune That makes sense! And I don't *think* I have soft tissue, but it could be another thing I refuse to believe as true! :)

And I have my eye on a Lucy here on Bratabase if the owner ever responds (lol) so maybe I will find out soon!!
