Measurement Experiment!
So I am one of those people who doesn't eat gluten. Don't hate me for being a part of the fad though! It makes me sick! I've been tested for Celiac twice, both times negative, but I still react badly.
My first reactions when I've eaten gluten is really bad bloating and comically large burps that are pretty much endless.
I always wondered exactly how much my bloating I actually get because I always use an extender in when I feel it at work or when I can't go home (I keep one with me at all times) or immediately take my bra off when I start to feel burp-ey. A few days ago I accidentally ate gluten - I still don't know exactly how - and decided to take some measurements since I was at home and happened to think about it.
My normal measurements are about 27.75 tight, 26 very tight, and 31 falling off loose. The measurements I came up with while extremely bloated: 28.25 tight. 27 very tight, and 31 falling off. On my petite frame (5' 2" and fairly slight) I added 1.5" inches in my tight underbust! No wonder my 28 bands feel horrible when I've accidentally eaten gluten!
Measuring made me feel much better about saying "I get extremely bloated" because I can quantify how bloated I get! Usually I just try to discretely un-clasp my bra, but now I kind of feel like I have a reason to leave work when I 'get glutened' and start to feel the effects!
Has anyone else tried to measure during extreme situations like mine?

It's not uncommon, my sister has bloating related to IBS and her torso is short enough (and boob roots reach low enough on her torso) that major digestive bloat reaches bra band level.
I have IBS too. :(
