Does anyone have any recommendations for wirefree bras in a 36F or 36FF? I'm trying to get my mom into some better fitting bras. I think that's roughly the right size, but I'm a bit puzzled as to how to fit her shape (or what it even is). All I have to start with is the fact that she hasn't worn underwires since having a partial mastectomy and lymph nodes removed because she says the wires rub her scars. I think shorter (but still wide) wires would solve that, but for now, I want to just start with some wirefree styles that are closer to the correct size. Any ideas? I'm not having much luck on Amazon.

  • I think Goddess and maybe Elila have wire free styles. Or nursing bras. Panache , Cake Lingerie and Hotmilk make pretty nursing/pregnancy bras. And you can always remove the clip and sew the top of the cup shut if it weirds her out that it's a nursing bra.
Edit: I think there's some nursing styles on zulily right now maybe.

  • I do have a Goddess style in my Amazon cart that I liked the looks of. I'll ask her how she feels about modifying a nursing bra -- we would definitely have to remove the clip because I'm sure that would rub.
