Sister Help!

Ugggh, I'm trying to get my little sister in a perfect bra. My mom is halfway out of the bra matrix, but doesn't pay attention enough to be fully out. The best fit I've seen my sister in is a 30E in a Curvy Kate unpadded lacy thing, but it's off just a bit-- she complains that the band is tight and I can see that her gore is so close to laying flat on her chest that it makes me upset that it doesn't. My mom bought her a 32DDD in some Victoria Secret thing, the cups are much too small, sillies.

If I would've gotten the Curvy Kate in a 30F or even a 32E, I think she'd be fine.

She's short and narrow with... boobs I can't really pin but she IS only 14 so she's still growing a bit. Like, they're not very big, I call her full on top because they're high, but they hang over, they don't take up a lot of space on her chest, but they are widely spaced, they're more pointy than round... I need a bra hero!

  • Take her to Nordstrom, or even Macys for F cup and under, and have a girls shipping trip. You can stop and look at other things too besides bras to make it more fun, try on lots of pretty things, and get lunch or a snack after :)
I'd have loved a trip like that with my big sister when I was 14. Good luck!

  • I would have loved to have a big sister instead of the older brother I got. And of course my parents had decided that they would only have two kids so dad went in for the V not long after I was born. (sigh) Going shopping for bras with my mom this past summer and also taking the soon-to-be-mini valentine #1 for her first bras would put me into the older sister role with an extended delay...soon-to-be-mini valentine #2 thinks bras are ridiculous and has taken to snapping #1's bra band to rile her up. Ah, the love of sisters. :P
