Still looking for moral support in buying a used bra!

I really want to try a polish bra, and I think these two both are darn close to fitting me - maybe slightly tight in the band, but I have some extenders

This one - i wrote, its in a moving truck, so I cant get more details until late next month: http://www.bratabase.com/listings/dlifu/#

This one I havent contacted yet . . . http://www.bratabase.com/listings/dlmi8/

Hubby usually isnt thrilled w used stuff, and i admit used bras seem odd, but otoh, its so hard to buy polish bras - it seems like a cheaper way to try to find out if they might fit?

Have ppl bought used bras here and had it work out? anyone know anything about these models?

  • Yup,I've bought used polish bras on here and other sites,t's very helpful.also the second link is for one that is new with tags.

  • I've bought and sold a bunch of bras via Bratabase with no issues. It's not uncommon to change size after having only worn a bra for a couple of months, or on reflection realise that there's some glaring fit issue with a bra which you couldn't tell from trying it on quickly, or sometimes it's just plain not worth trying to ship a bra back. (Living in Australia with a very hard to find size, this is all the time) Take your time to look at the advice regarding listings, and if you follow the guidelines, you should be fine! The community has all been lovely here.

With measurements, you can have a much more educated guess about whether or not a bra will work for you, letting you rule out things you know are a problem which may not be apparent from size alone like wire width or gore height. You can even ask the seller about features which aren't included in the Bratabase measurement system if it's a concern for you. If you're lucky enough to live in the same country as the seller, you also would get the advantage of domestic postage.

If you are buying a used bra, it should be getting washed both ends (by the seller and by you), and really, that's not that much different to buying a bra from a physical location where a bunch of people may have tried it on.
