Straps too far apart?
So, this isn't an EXTREME issue for me -- I don't usually have straps that fall off, or anything like that. I rarely specifically rate any of my bras having straps that are too far apart. But one of the major reasons I'm eyeing Comexim is because of their supposedly closer-set straps.
My situation: I'll start out the day feeling just fine, then reach for something in a way that involves crossing my hands over my body, and I'll feel it: a strap digging uncomfortably into my armpit. By the end of the day, I can feel it even if I hold my arms perfectly still by my sides -- just this constant low-level awareness of the straps, digging into my armpits.
One of my major frustrations as I've been searching for a new brand to call my own is how popular (dare I say, inescapable) balconey/balconette bras are in larger cup sizes.
I need a 32 band (very occasionally I can size down, as with Empreinte, or need to size up; what I'd call the "typical" 30 band fastens readily and is comfortable on me initially, then slowly squeezes the air out of me over the next 30 minutes or so) and ~11 inches of depth in the cup. My ideal cup width is about 5.5". I don't know if I'm wide set or not -- I think maybe on the outer edge of "average".
Annnnd I'm hoping for brand or even specific bra recommendations, in terms of bras with closer-set straps that actually come in my size.

no help, but i know what you mean. I've seen other posts about how odd that the straps are all so wide-set. there are a few blog posts here and there about moving the straps. It doesnt seem to be a problem for me, personally, luckily - nothing cuts in under the arm, and I only have straps fall off once or twice a day, generally later in the day
I need to alter the straps on a lot of my bras if I want to wear them. :/
I like my Gossard bras (ones I have now). I am not bothered by their strap width but I don't know if they have your size and I don't know if the other models of Gossard are wide set in the straps or not. There is a good strap altering tutorial that a woman on here sent me the link. I plan on trying to read it and follow the directions without ruining anything.

Also I don't really have the strap problem too bad with my Natori Feathers.
