Kris Line bra experiment FAIL:(
Bah! Anybody wanna gamble on a Kris Line?
I bought a 70HH Kris Line from another Bratabasian just to get a bead on the sizing and found that it fit about like I expected. The cups were way too small but the band was fine so I braved a Zulily sale on the Diamond Semi-soft in 32J (70J).
I'd read that their bands ran loose or tight, depending on the reviewer (oddly enough, not the style of bra itself) but I *ass U me'd* that it would be close enough.
Did I say "BAH" yet?!
The cups would probably be perfect, but I really can't say because there is no way that I could get the band hooked, unless I used multiple extenders. That would be pointless because I will not be buying this brand online again. One of the reviews did caution against it, but who is someone knowledgeable and experienced to tell me what to do, right?!
For reference, I wear a 32H in Cleo's non-padded styles and a 30HH in the padded. Most of my properly fitting Comexim bras are 75J and Ewa's are 70GG-75HH. I measure about 31-32 underbust. I will be adding the measurements soon, but my guess is that this bra actually fits like a UK 28/30K-ish.
I'm super irritated that it doesn't fit, because I think it would be a great t-shirt bra, which is a serious whole in my lingerie wardrobe. The materials are nice and the construction seems good. (Although there is an elastic pull on the upper edge of the cup that speaks of potential QC issues.) The interior of the cups is very soft and sewn in such a way that you can add cookies between the lining and the cup. (It didn't come with the cookies, though, which seemed odd after buying so many Ewa Michalak's from you lovely folks.) The colorway is "coffee"but it's more like a latte/dark beige; I could certainly use it under a white t-shirt even though I'm very pale.
If I could believe that this one was representative of this style, and assuming it comes in such a size, I'd try to find a 36/80H or 38/85GG (or whatever the Polish folks use).

I'm so sorry. That is exactly what happened when I bought the same bra in a 70 band (though different cup) from zulily. I don't know if my review was the one that warned about it as I can't remember if I mentioned where I bought it, but there was a conversation in Bra Adventures about discounters possibly getting "bad" (mislabeled or sloppily cut, i.e. large deviation from standard KL measurements) batches of Kris Line.
I love zulily and am pretty much putting all of their kids through college with how much I spend there, but this is one brand I will NEVER be buying from them.
Now I am nervous about my 85I coming. Maybe I'll be lucky. I wanted to try it because I am so center heavy, and I keep hearing they are the best for that.
