Hello, I am from the Netherlands. I am reading Bradatabase for a while now, but this is my first post here. I’d like to start with a question regarding the breast perimeter. How exactly does it relate to (or translate in) the cup size/band size? The perimeter of my left breast (the largest) is 39/40 cm’s (so around 15,5 inches) and my ribcage measures around 28.5/28.8 inches. I am currently in doubt what shape and size are best for my breasts. I own a Fantasie Serene and Elodie in size 30HH, but I think they are too narrow the in the cups for me. I always have this wrinkling at the tip of the cup (around my nipples) and in the bottom of the cups. I keep pulling the cups to the sides, because of my fleshiness at the sides. I guess I need shallower, wider wires with my orange in a glass syndrome… I think I slightly have the same problems as Eliza;) Yesterday I received my Curvy Kate Emily in size 30JJ. For the first time the under cups looked pretty normal & less distorted; finally the wires are long & wide enough for me. But although I am rather full on top, there is now some gaping and wrinkling going at the top of the cups (especially in the right one, my smaller breast). I already took off the labels, so I can’t send it back. Maybe I should have ordered also a 30J for comparison. However fortunately it was a bargain at Bras Stop;) Today also ordered a Panache Andorra in size 30J. I am curious how this will fit.
I further own two sports bras: one from Bravissimo (wired) in size 30K. The band and the cups run a bit small, but for jumping and jogging that’s ideal; and one from Royce (wireless) in size 32K. The cups are fitting properly I think. But the band is a bit too loose and the support is only suited for a low impact work-out. But it’s so comfortable I mostly wear it as a ‘house’ bra.

Thanks in advance for all your insightful advices.

  • And I've just discovered my boobs were not shallow, I had just not found the underbust line :D But if yours are, definitely Andorra!

Also Panache Sienna. I would almost say it's as comfortable as the Andorra.

Be sure to check out that you don't have rolls on your sides that actually are boobs as well :D

  • Great you discovered the real look of your boobs!:) I think my boobs are overly round, but very firm. I lost around 22 pounds in the last couple of months, but I hardly didn't lose any breast tissue at all. My boobs start somewhere at my back and that's the reason I think it's rather hard to measure the perimeter. But I can create some dramatic projection with the Fantasie Elodie, because of the side seam;) The Panache Andorra also has side seams, I heard. What do they for your projection? And how do the Andorra and Sienna compare? I must admit I am fairly new to Panache bras. I once tried the Tango II and I must admit it wasn't a pleasant experience. The wires hurt like hell. But I must also add that I ordered a too small cupsize. But I guess I really need those overly wide wires.
