LITTLE SISTER SUCCESS/big sister blues

My kid sister and I were having a day out and went to a mall where they have a Nordstrom's. When she saw the sign she was stoked and I wasn't... until I remember their UK sized bras. And then, all the sudden, she didn't want to go but we went anyway.

We tried on the Andorra in a 32G and 34FF and a cute Freya molded plunge balconette in 34FF and... 34F, I think. In the Andorra she did excellently in the 34FF with the except of the wires being too broad/long for her petitie frame. Oh, it was glorious, I could've cried. She spilled out of the 32G although the wires were shorter. The Andorra would be a great bra for her, but I don't know how to adjust it so it fits well-- maybe a 34F? We also confirmed that she's FoT, with high but pendulous boobs, very narrow. Both Freyas worked out okay, but one boob is a lot bigger than the other, so, when it comes to cleavage bras, I think she'll always have to make a sacrifice. It was leopard print and very cute though, and she's finally starting to get how bras work.

I shoulda tried on some bras, but I know it would've hurt me to get one that fits and then not buy it that minute... I do deserve it though. I'm looking for a Valentine's Day dress and my current, terrible 40DDD from Cacique by Lane Braynt (and a few of y'all regular readers know that I've concluded that 36FFs are more up my alley... yeeeaaah) makes my bust look SO terrible. Ugh, so frumpy and ugly. Not having a good bra really takes the joy out of shopping nowadays and makes me feel like shit. I even owe myself a new measuring because I started lifting weights almost 2 months ago and I see the inches lost, and that bra just makes me look like garbage. The Andorra would be a great bra for me too because where the wires were too long on my sister, they would have fully cupped my boobs. Maybe I'll get it and either put it all on credit or half it. I really deserve a good bra. And I deserve a sexy dress.

  • woah, your Nordstroms had all those brands?? Mine only carried DKNY, Wocoal, and Chantelle.
No wonder my local store went out of business...

  • Yeah! Panache, Freya, Elomi, Wacoal, Fantasie and Chantelle were the UK brands I noticed! If they had any others, I missed them. Laurizle
