Cage bras
Ladies with cage/harness bras, what are the extra straps made of? I figure probably elastic of some sort, but is it super stretchy? Fairly firm, just a little give for movement? Not elastic at all?
I want to add one to my ever-growing sewing pile, after a few others and a new birthday dress.
PS the replacement band fabric for my red bra fabric came. I'll be starting it soon

The straps on the Marlies Dekkers Dame De Paris Wired Padded Balcony Bra are this super soft stretchy fabric, very different from bra straps. I would think you would want elastic to avoid unattractive cutting in.
That's what I was thinking but wasn't 100% sure having not owned one.
