Successful alternation :) Converting my 38JJ into a 34KK using bra extenders :)
I haven't been here in a long time. I have been ill for quite some time, but now I'm better and I finally altered my 38JJ - Bravissimo ยป Candy Bliss Bra (LN173). I bought it, since it was cheap but the band was too big for me. So I decided to not just shorten the band but also make it a 4 hook - closure bra! I bought some cheap 4-hook bra extenders on Ebay. For my alternation I needed 2. I removed hooks on the inner side on one so they match then I sewed one on every side of the band. Before I had removed the old fastener. It worked very well and it's really super easy to do. I only needed like 15 mins to do this.
Now I have a very well fitting, 34KK Bravissimo bra with a 4-hook closure! YayI had to test it immediately and it works quite well. I even think it's a bit more supportive than the usual bra with the 3-hook closure...
There is a downside though... I'm quite good at closing my bra on the back. I can close every bra in seconds. But with the 4 hooks I suddenly had problems and had to close it on the front.
