sizing help

Hi, I need some help from those of you experienced in comexims sizing. Since evey single 60/28 band I have ever owned is too loose on me I was really excited to hear about comexim and ewa michalak and their 55 bands. I measure 61 cm (24 inches) tightly under my bust and 85 cm (33 inches) across the fullest part. I am slightly uneven where the smaller breast measures 19cm (7,5 inches) across and the larger one is 20 cm (7,9 inches). Now neither Ewa or comexim thinks I should wear a 55 band but I really want to try. I mean worst case scenario I'll have to wear it with an extender. Finally Ewa agreed to put me in a 55 FF. Now comexim have been a lot slower in response, its been 2 weeks since I contacted them and we haven't even agreed on a size yet. I've been searching bratabase and trying to decide what comexim size would fit me. Problem is I don't have a single bra that fits me so I find it hard to know what bra measurements would be right for me. All my bras cause at least some quadra boob and ride up in the back. I have everything from DD to F in varying brands and models, all in band 60/28. None of the cups are too big but I'm a bit unsure how many sizes too small they are..
man this was a long rant..
please help a girl out.

  • Anna @ comexim handles pretty much all their email on her own, so once in a while she just forgets about someone. (happened to me placing an order recently. She just forgot she never emailed me back.) If she hasn't gotten in touch with you in two weeks, I would email her again. It's probably just a matter of her getting busy and it slipping her mind, really. Happens once in a while.

As far as sizing, I do often take a band larger in the Polish brands than I do in the UK brands - but this is totally personal preference (I prefer a +1 or +2 for comfort). I think of Polish brands as usually running at a half size. Like, a 30 might really be more like a 29 most of the time. There are absolutely exceptions - my Comexim Vivien runs big in both the band and cup, so there's a point to which it would be hard to give specific advice on size without knowing the exact model. The more satiny fabrics tend to run smaller, the mesh ones larger, because mesh just has more stretch, but they're cut to the same unstretched length.

As far as the cups go, if you're an FF in Ewa, I'm assuming you're somewhere in that ballpark in UK brands, too? Based on that, I would guess around an H cup for Comexim. Wellfitting.com has a handy conversion chart on the sizing portion of their website that gives you the UK to Comexim size conversion, so if you know your typical UK size(or what it would sister size down to if they made bands that fit you), you can use that as a reference to get a good idea of a starting point.

  • Thank you for your detailed reply! I wrote Anna again and hopefully things will progress a litte faster now. Acording to wellfittings calculator I am a 26H, that translates to a 55 band but I'm unsure about the cup for comexim! It either a H or a FF, depending on the sizing system but I don't know what comexim uses since its so different from ewa michalak that is also in poland.
