Weight change and bra size

So, I've seen a lot of posts about losing/gaining weight and changing bra sizes recently. I feel like I'm kinda oblivious to this - in part because the Decent Exposures lycra blend bras are so forgiving. Sure, I've been through a few sizes, but not that often? Mostly that i'm a cup size bigger when pregnant and go up another when the milk comes in.

So I'm curious - how much weight do you have to gain or lose to notice a difference in cup size? In band size? Does it matter how overweight you are or does that not seem to matter? Do some ppl gain and lose more in other places first? Does having been a mom seem to change where weight comes and goes?

Thinking about it more, I think the last time I was down to high school weight, I was still a cup size above high school breast size (at least - I know in High School I could fit in a 34D Olga and last time at same weight, there was nothing in VS that fit me or came very close). So I know that its not always directly linked? But I'm also older . . .

  • I don't experience any loss in cupsize when I lose weight but if I gain weight straight to the boobs and butt!

  • I think it also depends on height and body type. I don't really notice losing twenty pounds. A little on my waist but not a change in my bra size that wasn't from migration. I'm also over 6' so that plays a big part for me. My body type has always had boobs, defined waist and and a flat butt with hips. I sort of gain weight all over the front of my torso. I'm also 35, so that's a part of it too. I really don't think, even losing 50 pounds (goal) I'll lose more than maybe a cup and hopefully a band size. I'm right under 36 right now. I lost an inch and a half from my underbust from migration.
