Tuberous girls: what types of bras work best for you?/body image
Since I've found a more appropriate size, I've been having a lot more trouble with bras than ever before.
I always used to go with molded bras only though.
It seems like either the wires are way too long and go nearly to my back but the cup depth is good and it at least gives me a nicer shape, or wires are good but cups are too small.
My latest try was a CK Lottie, which just looked terrible. I'm assiming it had to do with the fact that the wires are actually more appropriate for me and the seam hit a spot which made it really unappealing.
I don't mind pointy; Freya Eden(unlined) gives me a pointy shape, but it's a really perky pointy, and rounds out the rest of my boobs.
The Lottie doesn't mask anything for me, and I actually found that rather depressing.
So do you go with the wider, rounded wires? Shallow wires look terrible on me. It's similar to wearing a wireless bra.
Do you go for sizes smaller than what you measure? I just stopped doing this. My thoughts were that my boobs are longish, so they would never fill a 30E, but they should fill a 32C or D or something like that(and they usually do, but I quad in a lot of 32D's).
Also, depth wise, I assume we all measure as something we don't *look* like. I measure 30E or F and I never fit in F unless the cups run small, but I look like I'd fit into maybe a 30D.
I can't fit into that size because I have too much tissue, but I almost always have extra fabric somewhere with larger unlined bras.
I can't do a lot of molded bras because of their height on top, but if I go down in size, I spill.
The ones I can do need to be mildly shallow, but I can't do shallow unlined or it gives me quadboob.
I feel like there's no hope in finding something that fits just right with this problem. It seems hard enough for more developed people to find anything just right.
I've thought countless times that I should make custom bras based off of measurements and what's wanted from a bra.
Personally, I've had the most luck with the Freyas I've tried. Maybe I ought to just exclusively buy their bras.
I love the Eden, Siren, Deco Charm, and Starlet.
And lastly, does anyone struggle with the thought of wanting surgery but also wishing that you could just be yourself (and be happy with it)?
I have the type of attitude that I really don't want to care what society thinks, OR give into unrealistic expectations. Sometimes I get confused as to whether I'm self conscious about my shape because of society, or because I actually really just dislike it myself. I think it's mostly the latter.
It's just that I'm 24 and they make me look about 60. And I've been this way since I was 8 or 9. No one I ever knew looked like me, and it's always made me feel self conscious. Maybe it has a little to do with society then after all.
What are others' thoughts? I've actually never even spoken with someone else with the same "problem".
I'm beginning to wonder if it's something more uncommon than I had previously imagined.

Hey Girlfriend, I, of course, don't have the same troubles you have with getting fit, but, as a member of "society", I will offer you my opinion, for what it's worth.
I think you have a BEAUTIFUL body!! You look like a girl in her mid-twenties with very nice breasts and a beautiful figure.
If you are having issues finding a bra that fits you, maybe try making one. That would at least give you a "pattern" for looking for retail bras that work for you.
If I had your body, I wouldn't let some doctor cut on it for the sake of conforming to "Society's" pressure of what it "thinks" your body should look like. : )
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention; You are SPECIAL; You are UNIQUE; You are PRICELESS!!!!!
