Shopping in a local store (carries a lot of sizes)

You say: "I've been wearing a 34h(UK) and I've gained weight, I think I need 36H or 36HH." They hear "bring out that one 40F. Then a few other 38s and make sure they're matronly and make her give up hope until the very end in hopes she'll buy a $120 36GG just because it fits better than the rest". -_- no

  • I try to give as little backstory as possible and just ask to see "anything you have in size X and Y." My Teacher Death Glare is also very helpful in letting sales assistants know I mean business.

  • We all get this at some shops. It's lots of trial and error, but after death glaring my share of shop clerks, I found my local lingerie heaven that is literally the opposite. 'This size.' 'Unlined, or moulded?' And then they give me a box to dig through to my heart's content. I wish everyone was so lucky to have such a shop within driving distance.
