Dyeing Bras
So I'm going to buy some fabric dye to dye a bra or two but I'm trying to decide on what colors of dye to buy. I definitely want to dye a pink Marcie to a rich purple like the version that I believe was a Bravissimo exclusive, but I'm not sure if I should go the "red (pink) + blue = purple route, or if I should go for a straight purple dye.
I'm also considering dyeing an aqua Lily since I'm not the biggest fan of blue, but I'm not sure what color I'd like it to be. The fact that it has light pink accents is throwing me off as well since I'd have to take that possible color combination into consideration. I was thinking of trying for a red of some sort, but I can only imagine how it would turn out.
It's probably a terrible idea since I can't imagine it would be good for the health of a bra, but if I could bleach the color out of it, I could basically make it any color I want. Hmmm...
What do you guys think and what would be you guys' ideal bra color?

I dont think you can dye that kind of fabric. Most man-made cloth, the color is imbedded in the material during the manufacturing process, I think? I know that was the case with the ropes we made hammocks with (dont ask, long story)
and i'm pretty sure bleaching man-made fabrics destroys them - I have always been told that you can only tie-dye cotton, for example. or silk or rayon, which are also natural fibers. But not nylons/polyester/whatever.
but hopefully someone with firmer knowledge will weigh in
Hmm, I've seen a few threads on reddit about bra dyeing success. Someone managed to dye their pink and white Lucy an orange and yellow so I figured it would be worth a shot.
Here's that particular thread: http://en-us.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/27i391/dyed_my_pink_cleo_lucy_orange/
